Took a mate out yesterday lunch time for a fish only one keen enough with the rain and bit of wind.Went straight to tyabb for some squid no luck in my usual depth 6-8m so being overcast fished in 1.7-2.5m where we got 4 good ones very quickly.Headed to a spot just of Joes island at 4.00 for the run in,not a single touch for 4 hrs and then ofcourse on the six month old KG whiting frame Pinto's rod buckles but no hook up,had it on single circle hook.5 mins later his other rod goes with the squid ring and after a good fight we had a 6.5kg snapper in the boat and to say he was happy would be an understatement.came in about 9.00 after a top arvo.
